Hello friends,

I am pleased to say that, despite a cold and rainy day, the first Signature Saturday was a success! Thank you to all who braved the poor weather. It is hard to believe that only two weeks earlier Boston had experienced record high temperatures.

There are two April events coming up for which I need to ask your assistance. The first is the national delegate caucus that I am hosting on Saturday, April 21 at 10am. It will be held at Pozen Hall on the Massachusetts College of Art campus, 621 Huntington Avenue in Boston. At this caucus, we will elect delegates to represent the new 7th Congressional District at the Democratic National Convention later this year. It is an honor to host this event, and to do so successfully requires a number of volunteers. If you are interested in helping out, please contact my campaign office — we will be happy to answer any and all of your questions.

The second is our final Signature Saturday, which will be held on April 28th. We will gather mid-morning at locations around the district and spend a couple of hours gathering signatures. My campaign will supply all the materials you will need — with any luck, we’ll all be able to enjoy some fine late-April weather! If you can commit from 9:30 to noon on the 28th, I could certainly use your help.
